FAQ

What is the difference between a private and a public Spitex?

A public Spitex is commissioned by the municipality or canton and is obligated to provide care and household assistance. A private Spitex, however, is not bound by this obligation, allowing for greater flexibility and individualization in meeting clients' needs. And by the way: a private Spitex is no more expensive than a public one.
